Few wks ago, I was offered by this fren in the neighbourhood to adopt a 2 wks old, female beagle.
I had to suppress my wants even if this is something I hv been wanting in ages coz deep down inside, I knew it's not the right time yet - financially. Sigh ...
My heart aches even more, when I heard that she died 4 days ago. She was drown in a pail. I know it's not my fault, it's not my responsibility. But the thought of "I could have ..." still haunts and lingers in my mind.

A beagle huh? Not just financial responsibility you have to consider, but also are you planning on staying in S'pore? Or will you move back to HK? Or to Jakarta? What will happen to the beagle then?
Something I was too young to realize back then...
