You heard it in the news, you saw it in the papers.
You heard it in the news, you saw it in the papers.
I was surprised to hear that was the first topic that came up among elders, especially when they hvn't meet each other in ages. He has been searching for it in Spore but it was not available. Same fate for his frens in Europe.
It was said that Roche's Tamilflu has been proven effective against bird flu virus H5N1. Effective it may be. Just hope there is no severe side effects, like those medicine used to treat SARS patients in HK. Sadly, some are now physically disabled.
It wrenches one's heart to read the news nowadays, you know. Wouldn't it be nice if reporters around the world say, "It is my pleasure to tell you that there is no news today! Have a nice day!!!"

3 Thoughts:
HAHAHAHA. No news? HAHA. That's funny. Yeah, I hate reading the papers and then seeing pictures of people suffering all over the world, and here I am on my bed and relaxing. Sigh.
ah well, don't blame the reporters. they are just doing their job. the world is round, one side up, one side down. so, if there's comic strip, there'll definitely be some gruesome news somewhere too. But, the worse thing that can happen that all these diseases are simply human's creation who wants rake in more $$ from the medical field. That's scandal. Rest my case. Yoda wanna shut up now ;-)
Well, well.
I guess, reality bites, eh?
