Dreamgirls is not just a movie. It is a broadway legend and was initially called Big Dreams, which was written by Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger.

Although Jennifer Hudson, who is the runner up of American Idol Season 3, is the supporting role but I truly think her powerful and soulful voice overshadow or even overshines the main actress - Beyonce!

My fave scene where she sings "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going". Her bitter anger and desperation just seeps through the screen. You can feel her pain, as you watches her sing.

This movie is an immensely satisfying and entertaining. But the again, I luv musicals so I'm totally biased here, warn you!

Nevertheless, my all time favourite is still Chicago - nothing can beat that!
