Snow Cake is not a revolutionary movie. It leans towards to the aspect of deeply conventional - grief, guilt, loneliness, needs and a tinge of optimism.

Director Marc Evans is best known for psychological thrillers. I hv seen and heard some good review on the movie personally but honestly, it just leaves me to the note of so-so.
