II Cielo che Danza (The Dancing Sky) by Compagnia di Valerio Festi

It's museum's first ever Night Festival by the world famous Compagnia di Valerio Festi from Italy. Well known for their extra ordinary and large scale outdoor performances. It set to dazzle and enthral audiences with The Dancing Sky, featuring aerial performances such as, angelic dancers appear from the heavens suspended by floating hand-painted spheres, a grand piano and huge flying sailship soaring through the air high up in the sky under the artificial rain (My fave!).
Dreamlike princesses fly high the audience with exquisite music and lighting. It is not only dazzling but also makes you feel like you are in fantasy land. Not to mention the spectacular dances with contrasting elements - fire and water (my another fave!).
Set againsst the beautiful facade of the museum, this extraordinary extravaganza transforms the venue into a surreal and magical playground with color and beauty.
As a picture is worth a thousand words, blw are some of the excellent photos and videos. Thanks to the talented photographers and video camera men, who came to the show!
I found this site, where the photos seems to be free of "special effects" that are so common in this age of digital imaging.
