May be not for any particular reason why this innovation was made but hey, I ain't complaining! And you are hearing this from a nail polish fan!! =)
Revlon did it again! Fruitful Temptations is a limited-edition collection of scented nail polishes. The 8 shades are inspired by the freshness of exotic summer fruits and infused with succulent tropical scents. Each fruit shade has a matching fruit scent when the enamel is dry.
You can still sniff it for the next 5 days. (Not that anyone would but then again, who would complain hands with fragrance right?)
Available in Coconut Crush, Mad About Mango, Pretty In Papaya, Sublime Strawberry, Raspberry Rapture, Mon Cherry, Passionate Fruit, and Not So Blue-Berry (I heard this shade is popular!).
Be aware of any promotions because rumor has it that those who bought 1 shades only in the first round, ended up coming back for more! =)
PS: If you are worried that nail polish fums are toxic, hear what Revlon has to say -
Revlon nail enamels have a long history of safe use. They have been marketed and sold for more than 70 years without issue. Since 1992 all Revlon nail enamels have been free of DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde. The solvents used in nail enamels are safe for their intended use. Although not directed to do so, an individual briefly sniffing a nail enamel would not be exposed to a solvent concentration that would cause any concern for human health. The exposure would be consistent with what one normally experiences when using these products. Additionally , the fragrances used in Revlon’s new scented nail enamels have been carefully reviewed for safety and comply with all global standards required for fragrance.
