You would ask, if a car that you buy already comes with headlights, why bother to change it to projector headlights? What's the difference?
I have just learned this so allow me to share this with you in layman terms. Most of the headlights in cars today are operated based on electricity and gives out either low or high beam.
= High Beams =
Pros
* Straight, which enable you to see the most distance.
Cons
* Can be glaring at times.
* Reflections from rain and snow may cause back dazzle.
= Low Beams =
Pros
* Goes upwards and reroute the illumination downward, which gives good visibility.
All these sounds good, right? But if you can make life better, why not? After all, life is short and we live only once. Deep down inside, we know that we all deserve a little good treat for ourselves after all the hard work in life. * wink, wink *
Projector headlights emits brighter and stronger beams (less scatter loss), which gives you better night visibility. This is very important, especially if you are driving those long and straight roads during road trips, crossing one state to the other.
In my research, I stumbled upon CARid, an online automotive accessories company, based in Edison, NJ since 2003. I like the fact that their website is user friendly and you can search for products with a few clicks. They even have live chat to clear all your doubts away!
Buying projector headlights is significantly important - be it the reason is for fashionable designs or customized styles. At the same time, let's not forget the perspective of safety.
