I hv to come clean, when Alexander McQueen passed away, I was skeptical whether Sarah Burton can keep the McQueen factor in future collections and whether the empire would crumble into pieces.

After seeing Spring Summer 2011 range, I'm pleasantly surprised. She kept the McQueen essence and signatures - intricate digital prints as well as bizarre silhouettes (I luv those McQueen shaped shoulders and sleeve!) and added with her touch - lighter and fluids designs.

When it comes to McQueen, pictures do not do him justice. You must watch the video to observe the details of each garment's perspective and feel how the fabric flutters and dances in the air!

My favorite is the dark but dreamy fairy tale evening gowns (the last 5 pieces from the fashion show in video blw).

PS: I had to say I miss McQueen's trademark theatrical shows!
