I doze off when she kept yakking about all the bus rides that she ever take in Singapore. She can go onto the details of the duration, the ambience (since when does a bus hv ambience???) and blah, blah, blah ... I "dozed" off already until she reminds me the simplest thing in life that we often forget - Being Grateful.
She started to tell me vividly her experience in one of those 'pregnant' train in Bombay, where she literally stands on one feet for the whole trip. Everyone is pushing everyone and everything around them all the time. Those that are hanging out by the very edge are doing everything they can to not fall on the tracks. These accidents are very common.
So, what are we to complain about buses in Singapore even if it is packed (Thanks to those who just refuse to move in further!) each and every morning? At least, you are in air conditioned!
