The Power of Words

Thanks to Bukudu and Monclair Socio Blog who got me thinking ...

Hv you ever wonder why we all can be looking at the same objects or incidents but hv vastly different opinions? 

"I hv never thought of it that way ... "
"Huh? *scratching head* "
"Are we still talking abt the same topic?" 

How each word is interpretted in our own heads depends on the culture we grew up in, the experiences we hv gone through, the values we hold dearly to, etc. The enormous power lies in the meaning of the words, what they mean to the person who hears them.

Hv you heard of: "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me."? That's so wrong! Words are not cheap, they are free but dun underestimate their power and influence. Words have the power to transform the world we live in.
