I had watched Burlesque 4 times - not on DVD but all on cinemas! It is that good!!
Although I have to admit that the story line is painfully predictable and camera work ain't as artistic and elegant as Chicago but I still love each and every bit of it.
A big budget musical extravaganza - 2010 Golden Globe award winning musical film directed and written by Steven Antin and starring Christina Aguilera and Cher - the perfect cast! Burlesque is a glitzy tribute to two of the greatest divas ever.
The vocals are strong, unbelievably amazing costumes and the entertainment is absolutely mesmerizing. The sexy but innocent performances - sprinkled with hunger and lust holds you to the edge of your seats and the soulful vocals makes me bristled. It was hard to watch without tapping and clapping - even the 4th time!!
My fave song is "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me", Written by Diane Warren, performed by Cher - which won Golden Globe Awards, Best Original Song.
